2011 Penobscot Cultural and Historic Preservation Department Calendar is now available. This calendar includes over 180 images of Penobscot People and Places, many never published. Each month of the calendar has a different theme. These themes include: Our Home, Couples, Chiefs, Mothers, Fathers, Veterans, Athletes, Pageant Days, Winter Fun, Land Claims, Hunting, and Indian Island "Old School." Also included is the Penobscot Lunar Calendar, and the 1866 Penobscot Church Calendar made by Joseph Polis.
